Wilford Lynn Allen

Wilford Lynn Allen, 76, of Port Isabel, Texas passed away Thursday, July 27, 2023, at his residence. He was born June 20, 1947, in Altus, Oklahoma to Dillard Allen and Hadie Mae Lewis. Wilford served in the U.S. Army in the 2^nd Armored Division (Hell on Wheels) as an Armed Tank Operator during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion Post 464 of Weslaco, Texas. Wilford also enjoyed fishing, watching wrestling, and was a Dallas Cowboys fan. He will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Allen, and daughter Pamela Dee Dee Allen.

Wilford is survived by his son, Dusty Allen; daughter-in-law, Milagros Gonzalez; and grandchildren, Aleksandra E. Fragoz, Carla C. Velasco, Airiana Lynn Marie Allen, Victoria Lynn Marie Allen, Thomas McGuire, Amanda McGuire, and Savanah Fegan.

His family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff of Mt. Sinai Hospice.
