Roberto Garcia

Roberto Garcia, 84 years of age passed away on September 5, 2022 in Brownsville, Texas. Roberto was born on June 28, 1938 in Los Fresnos, Texas to Raul Garcia and Tomasa Alvares.

Roberto worked many years as a carpenter, enjoyed cooking, planting plants, spending time with his family and was a devout catholic.

Roberto is preceded in death by his mother, Tomasa Alvares; his father, Raul Garcia; brothers, Lupe Alvarez, Francisco Guerrero Jr, and grandmother Maurilia A. Alvarez.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his children; Lucy Eguia, Corina Ybarra, Raul Garcia, Robert Garcia Jr., Rebecca Garcia, Roberta A. Garcia, Richard D. Garcia,20 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin on September 9, 2022 from 1 p.m.- 8 p.m. with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 p.m. at Angel Lucy’s Funeral Home in Los Fresnos, Texas. Visitation will resume at 8:30 a.m. here at Angel Lucy’s Funeral Home with a mass at 12 p.m. at St Cecelia Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Los Cuates Cemetery in Los Fresnos, Texas.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Richard D. Garcia, Jose L Balleza III, Michael Garcia, Joey Eguia, Raoul Garcia, David Eguia, and honorary pallbearers will be Richardo Herrera, Raul Garcia, and Robert Garcia Jr.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of Angel Lucy’s Funeral Home, 1005 S. Arroyo Blvd., Los Fresnos, Texas.
