Matias Cardoza, Jr.

Matias Cardoza Jr. 59, years of age passed away on Thursday March 24, 2022 in Harlingen, Texas. Matias was born on January 22, 1963 to Matias and Maria Luisa Cardoza in Matamoros, Mexico.

Matias is preceded in death by his first wife Conception Cardoza, his sister Hayda Nino Cadoza, brother Alvaro Cardoza, and niece Nora Izaguirre.

Left behind to cherish his loving memory is his wife, Josefina Cardoza; children, Mathias Cardoza III (Arianna Barco), Roman Cardoza (Yvette), Daisy Cardoza; grandchildren, Layla Lee Cardoza, Yvette Conception Cardoza, Mia S. Herrera, Roberto Herrera, Ana Sophia Herrera, Francisco Torres, Kimberly Torres, Emily Torres, and Adaleisa Torres.

Visitation will begin on Monday March 21, 2022 from 10 a.m.- 8 pm with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 pm. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. till service time. Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, March 29^th at 1:00 p.m. at St. Ignacio Catholic Church in San Benito, Texas. Burial will follow at Esparza Cemetery on Military Hwy in San Benito.
