Mark married, had children, & moved to Lawrence, KS where he excelled as a general contractor, property manager, & entrepreneur. In 2000, Mark embarked a new chapter with Diana, marrying in 2009. They built a life with cherished memories, friends, & family in KS but their hearts were called to TX where they retired to Laguna Vista full time in 2020.

Mark indulged in solving world problems over a cup of coffee, loved his animals, boating, fishing & more fishing, watching wildlife, and was an advocate for nature. After being diagnosed with cancer, Mark was tenacious in living a healthy life to the fullest, & was surrounded by family until the end. Mark will be deeply missed, but loved ones are encouraged to share memories in remembrance of him. A celebration of life will be held in the future, details to follow.
