Juan R. Ramirez

Juan R. Ramirez, age 89, of Los Fresnos, Texas passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, in Brownsville, Texas. He was born December 27, 1933, in Karnes County, Texas to Geronimo and Benita Rangel Ramirez

Juan is preceded in death by Cipriano Ramirez, Isabel Ramirez, Rosalia Troncoso, Maria Zamora, and Andrea Guerrero.

He is survived by his loving wife, Antonia Ramirez; his children, Maria Carmela Trevino, Maria Elva Trevino, and Pedro Trevino III; along with Ruth Zamora and Maria Zepeda; and his siblings Antonia Ramirez, Jose Ramirez, Pedro Ramirez, Geronimo Ramirez, Salomon Ramirez, Antonia Arredondo, and Guadalupe Ramirez.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 2, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. at Los Fresnos Funeral Home in Los Fresnos, Texas.

A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. at St Cecilia Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Burial Park in Brownsville, Texas.
