Juan "Rhino" Garcia, Jr.

On Friday, May 31, 2024, we said farewell to a cherished soul, Juan "Rhino" Garcia, Jr., of Los Fresnos, Texas. Born on February 7, 1995, in Brownsville, Texas to Juan Garcia and Sonia Garcia, Juan's light touched the lives of all who knew him. His journey included graduating from Los Fresnos High School and pursuing education at TSTC while finding joy in gaming and fitness.

He is preceded in death by his loving maternal grandparents, Amelia Garza and Jose Baldemar Fernandez; caring paternal grandmother, Maria G. Garcia; as well as his uncles: Osbaldo Fernandez, Esteban Fernandez, and Cesar Garcia.

Juan leaves behind his wife, Liliana Amador; stepdaughter, Sophia Daniels; devoted parents, Juan and Sonia Garcia; and his loving sister, Valeria Garcia.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation scheduled for Wednesday, June 5, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. held at Los Fresnos Funeral Home in Los Fresnos, Texas. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., also at Los Fresnos Funeral Home. Juan will then be laid to rest at Los Cuates Cemetery.

Honoring his life and memory as pallbearers are David Fernandez, Jose Baldemar Fernandez Jr., Jose Domingo Garcia Jr., Adrian Alejandro, Rolando Mendoza, Daniel Morales, Rodolfo Lucero, and Luis Trejo - with Blake Ray Fernandez as an honorary pallbearer.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Los Fresnos Funeral Home located at 1005 S. Arroyo Blvd., Los Fresnos, Texas. 

Juan's spirit will continue to shine bright in the hearts of those he touched along his journey in this world.
