Gabriel Cruz

Gabriel Cruz, aged 79, of Los Fresnos, Texas, peacefully passed away on February 6, 2025, at his home. Born on March 24, 1945, in Mexico to Nicolas Cruz and Guadalupe Mendoza Cruz, Gabriel lived a life rich in music and love, finding joy in playing the accordion.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his seven siblings, who will welcome him in eternal peace. Gabriel’s loving legacy continues through his devoted wife, Maria Elena Cruz, their children Jaime and Silvia Cruz, and his cherished seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held in his honor on February 7, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a prayer service scheduled for 6:00 p.m. at Los Fresnos Funeral Home.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Los Fresnos Funeral Home, located at 1005 S. Arroyo Blvd., Los Fresnos, Texas.
