Francisco Javier Infante

Mr. Francisco Javier Infante, aged 86, of Los Fresnos, Texas, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, 31, 2024, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville Texas. Born on December 3, 1937, in San Roman, Texas, he was the sixth child born to Jose Infante and Carolina Infante.

Javier dedicated himself to working for a local farmer, Mr. Elmer Meek, in the Los Fresnos and Bayview areas. He diligently tended to the crops by planting and harvesting, as well as maintaining equipment. 

He is survived by his wife, Carmen; and children: Alfredo (Mary) Infante, Yrene (Jaime) Infante, Rogelio Infante, Francisco Javier (Patty) Infante Jr., Leo (Lily) Infante, and Ernesto (Michelle) Infante. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren: Yvette, Jamie, Logan, Annette, Allison, Roy, and Dante.

He is now reunited in eternal peace with his parents and siblings: Juana Barajas, Juan Infante, Pedro Infante, Jose Infante Jr., Isabel Ramirez, Guadalupe Alvarado, and Dominga Mendiola. Left to cherish his memory are his surviving siblings: Virginia Infante, Jose (Rosa) Barajas; Pablo Infante; Martin (Anita) Infante; and Jesus (Rosabelia) Infante.

A gathering to honor Mr. Francisco Javier Infante will take place on Friday, August 9th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a Memorial Service scheduled at 6:00 p.m. at Los Fresnos Funeral Home. All funeral arrangements are being handled with care by Los Fresnos Funeral Home located at 1005 S. Arroyo Blvd., Los Fresnos Texas.

Mr. Francisco Javier Infante will be remembered for his hard work ethic and dedication to his family and community. He will be deeply missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing him during his lifetime.
