Elmer M. Henderson

Elmer M Henderson was called home on January 25, 2023 at his winter home in Los Fresnos, TX. He was 99 years young, born on March 29^th, 1923 to Benjamin and Ella Henderson in Victory, WI.

Elmer was an avid fisherman, hunter and traveler, which he enjoyed up until his passing. He also loved spending time with his family and friends who reached far and wide, whom he considered family.

Elmer was a very proud Veteran of WWII.  He served in the South Pacific, specifically the Philippines.

He was the beloved father of 10 children, Norma Kay Lewis, Gary (Geraldine), Glen (Linda), David (Nancy), LaVern (Jodie), Linda (Jim) Mulhern, Terry, Larry (deceased), Edward (Linda), Sharon (Ross) Berge, 22 grandchildren, 34 Great Grandchildren and 17 Great Great Grandchildren.

He was proceeded in death by the love of his life and wife of 72 years Doris, his parents, sister Donna,  son Larry, 2 son in laws 2 grandsons and 1 great granddaughter.

There will be a Celebration of Life, on May 6^th, 2023 in Wisconsin, place, and time to be determined. Any donations should be made to Take a Vet Fishing in his honor.
