Elias Fernandez Garcia, Jr.

Elias Fernandez Garcia, Jr. 68 of Los Fresnos passed away Monday morning November 14, 2022 at his residence surrounded by family.  Elias was born on October 11, 1953 to Elias & Andrea Garcia Fernandez, Sr. 

Elias enjoyed fishing, soccer, and was of the Catholic faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents Elias & Andrea Fernandez, siblings: Gilberto Fernandez, Emilio Fernandez, Petronilo Fernandez, Soledad Torres, Modesta Martinez

Left to cherish his memory are is his wife Maria del Carmen Zuniga, his children: Irasema (Juan Carlos) Barron, Effraein (Viviana) Fernandez, Ricardo (Cristina) Fernandez, Elias (Cecilia de la Cruz) Fernandez, Eriberto (Yelitza Perez) Fernandez and 24 grandchildren.

Visitation for Elias will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m.  Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2020 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Los Fresnos. Burial will follow at Los Cuates Cemetery.

Honor to serve as pallbearers will be Effraein Fernandez, Ricardo Fernandez, Juan Carlos, Hector Fernandez, Ernesto Fernandez, Edgar Fernandez, Fabian Ceballos, Angel Fernandez, and Alexis Fernadez.
