Cynthia Perez

Cynthia Perez, age 61, of Los Fresnos, Texas, passed away on March 9, 2025, in Harlingen, Texas. She was born on July 22, 1963, in Chicago, Illinois, to Mario and Eva Ruiz. Cynthia will be dearly missed.

Cynthia is preceded in death by her father, Mario Ruiz, and is survived by her devoted mother, Eva Ruiz.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a prayer service scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at Los Fresnos Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Los Fresnos Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Los Cuates Cemetery.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to those who will honor Cynthia as pallbearers: Henry Aguilar, John Aguilar, Cristobal Carrasco, Ezequiel Melgoza, Marcos Melgoza, and Rashid Elakhdari.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Los Fresnos Funeral Home, located at 1005 S. Arroyo Blvd., Los Fresnos, Texas.
