Adan O. Rodriguez

Adan O. Rodriguez, 81, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022.  He was born in Las Yescas, Texas on June 8, 1941, to Eliseo & Julia Rodriguez.  Adan worked in construction and retired from Brown & Root Company after 30 years of service.  He enjoyed dancing, BBQ-ing, and spending time with his family. Adan was a Catholic man and although he did not attend church on a regular basis, one of his favorite mottos was “Primerante Dios”.

Adan was preceded in death by his parents Eliseo & Julia Rodriguez, his sons: Ruben Rodriguez, Eliseo Rodriguez, and Benito Rodriguez. His daughter Angelita Rodriguez, sisters: Dora Gutierrez, Eva Rodriguez, brother Guadalupe Rodriguez, and grandson Ricky Ramos, Jr.

Left to cherish his memory will be his partner Margarita Rodriguez, his children: Rudy (Norma) Rodriguez, Adelaido Rodriguez, Adan Rodriguez, Jr., Julia (Ricardo) Ramos, Roy (Sobeida) Rodriguez, Vanessa Rodriguez (Pedro Garza), Angelita Rodriguez Velarde (Reginald Morman). Grandchildren: Felicha (Enrique) Garduno, Santos (Erika) Ramos, Amanda (Ivan) Sanchez, Yanitsa Rodriguez, Abby Rodriguez, Ray Ryan Rodriguez, Gena Perez, Miriam Perez, Eugene Perez, Penelope Garza, Mario Velarde, Tristan Velarde, Aadian Velarde, Kaymn Rodriguez, Tomas A. Herrera, Judy Herrera, Angel Torres, and Viani Torres.  Sisters: Juanita Rodriguez and Lydia (Arnulfo) Perez. 4 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 29^th from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m, with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday, December 30^th from 8:30 a.m to 1:30 p.m.. Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday afternoon at San Vicente Cemetery in Las Yescas, Texas.

Honor to serve as pallbearers will be: Roy Rodriguez, Christopher J. Gutierrez, John Theiss, Rudy Rodriguez, Ricardo Ramos, and Santos Ramos.  Honorary pallbearers will be: Ray Ryan Rodriguez and Adelaido Rodriguez.
